  • What is a technical campaign?
  • A technical campaign occurs when a manufacturer determines that a vehicle model either has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a production standard. When this happens, BMW will alert owners of the problem and will recall affected vehicles to an Authorised BMW Service Centre for a complimentary repairs.

  • Are cars imported from another country and registered in Brunei included in these technical campaigns?
    Yes. Alternatively, if you wish to find out if your BMW is affected, you can also contact any of our Authorised BMW Service Centre.

  • Where can I find my BMW Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)?
    You can find it on the registration document of your BMW as well as your roadtax stated as your vehicle’s chassis number.
  • What if my vehicle is affected by a technical campaign, and I don’t get it checked?
    We encourage you to bring your vehicle to your Authorised BMW Service Centres as soon as possible if your vehicle has been affected by a technical campaign. This will ensure that you can continue to enjoy maximum driving pleasure for all your journeys ahead.
  • How long will it take for my BMW to be repair?
  • Completion time for the technical campaign may vary depending on the availability of the parts involved and the status of your vehicle.
