Drive train and dynamics

 The highly efficient engines of the BMW 2 Series Coupé. The BMW 2 Series Coupé is optionally equipped with an efficient BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder petrol engine while the BMW M240i xDrive is powered by a 374 hp BMW M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine.
Steptronic sport transmission for fast gear changes. The 8-speed Steptronic sport transmission offers incredibly sporty gear changes. Whether automatic or manual using the selector lever or gearshift paddles – for comfortable coasting or incredibly dynamic driving. In SPORT PLUS mode and with the selector lever in the left-hand S/M position, the gear shifts are configured for the maximum performance.
Adaptive M suspension with optimal damping. The optional adaptive M suspension can be electrically adjusted at any time to suit the road and driving conditions. You can also adjust the suspension characteristics via the Driving Experience Control to enable your preferred driving style at the time – from comfortable to extremely athletic with markedly agile handling.
M sport differential for perfect traction. The optional M sport differential optimises traction and driving stability when changing lanes or accelerating out of a bend, when taking bends at high speeds or on different road surfaces. Traction is optimised with the help of an electronically operated device that reduces the difference in revolution speed between the rear wheels.

Connectivity

 Display concept of the BMW 2 Series Coupé. Comprising a 12.3" instrument cluster and 10.25" Control Display, the multifunctional display unit provided with the optional BMW Live Cockpit Professional in the BMW 2 Series Coupé ensures you have the best possible view of all information relevant for driving and can operate the vehicle’s digital services easily and intuitively.
BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant in the new BMW 2 Series Coupé impresses with its natural and personal way of interacting. From the very first journey, it is fully dedicated to your wishes – and learns independently how best to cater to your habits and needs. Using a voice command, for instance, you can change to SPORT mode or receive explanations of vehicle-related topics.

    THE EXTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS OF THE BMW 2 SERIES COUPÉ.

    The three-box design of the new BMW 2 Series Coupé combines the BMW tradition of compact coupés with a modern appearance. In addition to the typical BMW proportions and the broad stance, triangular shapes and diagonal lines define the dynamic appearance of the BMW 2 Series Coupé.

     Single-frame double kidney grille. The single-frame double kidney grille underlines the rich character that determines the design of the new BMW 2 Series Coupé. The classic slats of the kidney grille are replaced by expressively styled flaps. These open or close to meet the demand for air and thus simultaneously visualise the performance capacity of the engine behind.
    The rear design. The distinctive rear lights positioned at the outer extremes emphasise the broad stance of the new BMW 2 Series Coupé. At the same time, horizontal lines create an interplay of light and shaded areas to produce a striking display of the rear section.
    Bi-LED headlights. The redesigned headlights of the BMW 2 Series Coupé do not feature the customary double round aesthetics but are styled as individual lamps – a reference to the rich tradition of BMW Coupé icons such as the BMW 2002. Thanks to Bi-LED technology, low and high beam are implemented in one light tube.

    THE INTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS OF THE BMW 2 SERIES COUPÉ.

    All displays and controls inside the cockpit of the BMW 2 Series Coupé are consistently driver-oriented. The M leather steering wheel including multifunction, M emblem and rim in soft ‘Nappa’ leather delivers a sporty and direct steering sensation.
